1. Firstly open up the picture you want to use. Im using the following picture of Christina Milian.






2. Now select the pen tool. At the top of Photoshop make sure that the paths button is selected.






3. Using the pen tool go around the outline of the persons lips. Heres what Ive got. You may want to zoom in closer to get a better view. I have faded my image so you can see where I have clicked clearer.






4. Now go to Window >> Paths. Hold down control on your keyboard and then click on your path. This should select the area which you drew around with the pen tool.






5. Now press Ctrl+C. This copies the current selection. Then press Ctrl+V which will paste the selection as a new layer. Go to Filter >> Artistic >> Plastic Wrap and use the following settings.






6. Click OK. You should now see that your persons lips are glossy. If you want them to be less glossy looking then simply lower the opacity of the layer. Here is what my end result is.
